Divinity (VRP 100)


  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla


Part 1:

  1. Boil slowly without stirring until a little hardens in cold water. Set aside to cool

Part 2:

  1. Boil 1 cup sugar & ½ cup water until it [chreads].
  2. Beat this slowly ____ [beat] whites of 2 eggs
  3. When Part One has slightly [cooled], quickly turn in to part 2.
  4. Beat rapidly - add 2 cup nuts
