Dill Pickles Recipe

- 1 quart vinegar
- 1 1/2 quart water
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup salt
- Cut cucumbers in strips
- Place in refrigerator overnight
- Pack in jars with stock of celery, slice of onion, bud of garlic, and dill
- Mix vinegar, water, sugars, and salt in a saucepan
- Bring to a boil and stir until sugars and salt are dissolved
- Pour over cucumbers in the jars and seal
