Yield: 6 servings

Corn O'Brien


  • 1 no. 2 can whole grain corn
  • 2 T butter
  • ½ t salt
  • 1 t sugar
  • ¼ t white pepper
  • ¼ cup minced green pepper
  • 2 T chopped pimentoes
  • 2 T cream


  1. Put butter into frying pan to heat slowly
  2. Quickly chop green pepper & add to saute
  3. When pepper is clear in color, add drained corn
  4. Add salt, pepper, sugar & cream.
  5. Simmer 5 min.
  6. Remove from fire & add chopped pimentoes.
  7. Stir well & serve hot.
