Connecticut Nutmeg Sauce

Ingredients

Stir together:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 TB flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Gradually add to:

  • 2 cups boiling water
  • Add 1 TB butter

Instructions

    1. Cook 5 minutes.
    2. Remove from heat and add 1/2 nutmeg grated
