Chocolate Pound Cake Recipe

Chocolate Pound Cake
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter roles
- ½ cup shortening
- 3 cups sugar
- 5 eggs
- 3 cups flour
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 4 tablespoon cocoa (may be heaping if desired)
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions
- Cream together butter & shortening, add sugar, add eggs one at a time, beating after each.
- Add vanilla.
- Sift all dry ingredients together.
- Add dry ingredients and milk alternately to creamed mixture.
- Bake in 10" tube pan at 325°F for 80 minutes
