Chocolate Frosting

Ingredients

  • 2 squares unsweetened chocolate (2 ounces), chopped coarsely
  • 2 tablespoons oleo
  • 1 3/4 cup confectioner's sugar, sifted
  • 1/4 cup whipped cream
  • 3/4 teaspoon vanilla
  • Dash of salt

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan melt together the chocolate and oleo
  2. Remove from heat
  3. Stir in the sifted confectioners sugar, whipped cream, vanilla, and salt
  4. Stir until well blended
  5. If necessary, stir in additional powdered sugar 1 tablespoons at a time to make of spreading consistency
