
Chocolate Frosting
Ingredients
- 2 squares unsweetened chocolate (2 ounces), chopped coarsely
- 2 tablespoons oleo
- 1 3/4 cup confectioner's sugar, sifted
- 1/4 cup whipped cream
- 3/4 teaspoon vanilla
- Dash of salt
Instructions
- In a saucepan melt together the chocolate and oleo
- Remove from heat
- Stir in the sifted confectioners sugar, whipped cream, vanilla, and salt
- Stir until well blended
- If necessary, stir in additional powdered sugar 1 tablespoons at a time to make of spreading consistency
