Chocolate Coco-Nut Bars Recipe

Chocolate Coco-Nut Bars
Ingredients
- 1 package (5.75 ounces) milk chocolate chips
- ½ cup light corn syrup
- 2 tablespoons Blue Bonnet margarine
- 1 teaspoon McCormick/Schilling vanilla extract
- 4 cups Cheerios cereal
- ½ cup salted peanuts
- ½ cup shredded coconut
Instructions
- Butter square pan 9x9x92 inches.
- Heat chocolate chips, corn syrup, margarine and vanilla in 3-quart saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly, until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth; remove from heat.
- Stir in cereal, peanuts and coconut until well coated.
- Turn mixture into pan; press with buttered back of spoon.
- Let standat least 1 hour.
- Cut into bars, about 2¼x1½ inches.
