Cherry Clafoutis Recipe

Cherry Clafoutis
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/4 cup milk
- 2/3 cup flour
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon rum
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 16 ounce can of dark sweet pitted cherries
- Whipped cream
Instructions
- In a small mixing bowl beat eggs until foamy
- Add milk, flour, sugar, rum, and salt
- Beat at low speed until smooth
- Pour batter into a butter pie pan
- Arrange 1/2 the cherries into the batter
- Press down gently
- Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until knife comes out clean
- Let stand 15 minutes
- Garnish each piece with remaining cherries and whipped cream
- Serve warm
