Cheesy Macaroni and Meatballs Recipe

Cheesy Macaroni and Meatballs
Ingredients
- 2 slightly beaten eggs
- ¾ cup soft bread crumbs (1 slice)
- 2 tablespoons each finely chopped onion, green pepper, and parsley
- ½ teaspoon dried oregano, crushed
- ¼ teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 7¼-ounce package macaroni and cheese dinner mix
- 1 2½-ounce package sour cream sauce mix
- ½ teaspoon dried oregano, crushed
- 2 cups milk
Instructions
- In medium bowl, combine eggs, crumbs, onion, green pepper, parsley, the first ½ teaspoon oregano, the garlic salt, and a dash pepper.
- Add ground beef; mix thoroughly.
- Shape in 24 meatballs.
- Place in shallow baking pan.
- Bake in 375° oven for 20 minutes.
- Meanwhile, cook macaroni according to package instructions; drain.
- Combine dry cheese mix from package dinner, sour cream sauce mix, and the remaining oregano; beat in milk.
- Stir in cooked macaroni.
- Turn into ungreased 12x7x1½-inch baking dish.
- Top with meatballs.
- Bake, uncovered, in 375° oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
