Broccoli Florets With Browned Butter

Broccoli Florets With Browned Butter

Ingredients

  • 2 large brunches broccoli, florets only (use stalks in soup)
  • ½ cup (1 stick) butter

Instructions

  1. Cook broccoli florets in boiling salted water until crisp-tender, about 5 to 7 minutes; do not overcook.
  2. Transfer to colander and let drain 2 or 3 minutes.
  3. While broccoli is cooking, melt butter in saucepan over high heat, stirring constantly until it turns rich nutty brown.
  4. Arrange broccoli in heated serving dish and pour butter evenly over top.
