Broccoli Florets With Browned Butter Recipe

- 2 large brunches broccoli, florets only (use stalks in soup)
- ½ cup (1 stick) butter
- Cook broccoli florets in boiling salted water until crisp-tender, about 5 to 7 minutes; do not overcook.
- Transfer to colander and let drain 2 or 3 minutes.
- While broccoli is cooking, melt butter in saucepan over high heat, stirring constantly until it turns rich nutty brown.
- Arrange broccoli in heated serving dish and pour butter evenly over top.
