Bread Pudding Recipe

Bread Pudding (VRP 096)
Ingredients
- 1 qt milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups bread cubes
- 1-3 cup sugar
- ¼ cup melted butter
- ½ cup raisins
Instructions
- Scald milk, add bread crumbs & soak 15 min.
- Add sugar & salt to slightly beaten eggs & mix well.
- Add milk & bread mixture then melted butter & raisins.
- ____ & pour into greased baking dish.
- Set in larger pan of water & bake in slow oven of 325 to 350° for 1½ hr.
- Two squares of chocolate may be melted & added to egg and sugar mixture if desired.
