Boston Cream Pie

Boston Cream Pie


  • 1 pkg (3 oz.) Banana Cream pudding & pie filling mix
  • 1½ cup milk
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa
  • 1 tbs. (soft) oleo
  • 1 baked 8" yellow layer cake
  • ½ cup cream (whipped*)


  1. Combine pudding & milk and cook according to pkg. directions.
  2. Remove from heat.
  3. Measure 1 cup pudding.
  4. Chill.
  5. To remaining pudding add cocoa and oleo.
  6. Mix until well blended & oleo has melted.
  7. Chill thoroughly.
  8. Split cake layer in half.
  9. Stir pudding, fold whipped cream into plain pudding.
  10. Spread evenly on bottom half of cake.
  11. Cover with remaining layer of cake.
  12. Top with chocolate pudding mixture.
  13. Chill until ready to serve.
  14. Sprinkle top of chocolate mixture [c] sugar.


*add vanilla & sugar to whipped cream.
