Blue Cheese Pear Apple Salad
Ingredients
- 1 medium pear
- 1 medium apple
- About ¼ cup lemon juice
- Lettuce leaves
- Dressing (recipe follows)
Dressing:
- ½ cup commercial sour cream
- 2 tablespoons chili sauce
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teapoon sugar
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon paprika
- Dash of white pepper
Instructions
- Quarter and core fruit; dip in lemon juice.
- Slice each quarter into wedges; spread blue cheese on each wedge.
- Arrange wedges in an attractive pattern on lettuce leaves.
- Chill; top with salad dressing.
- Dressing: Combine all ingredients; blend well.
