Black Forest Torte
Ingredients
- 1 package Devil's Food cake mix
- 1 can cherry pie filling
- 3 cups Cool Whip, thawed
Instructions
- Prepare 2 9" cake layers as directed on the package
- Spoon 1/2 cup topping in 3" circle in center of one cake layer on plate
- Spoon 1 cup topping around the top edge of layer
- Spoon half of pie filling between circle and border
- Place second cake layer on top
- Spoon remaining pie filling in the center
- Chill
- Refrigerate left over cake
