Banana Raisin Bread Recipe

- ½ cup shortening
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 bananas - mashed
- ½ cup raisins
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp soda
- 1 tsp salt
- Combine first 5 ingredients.
- Sift together dry ingredients & add to first mixture.
- Stir until just moistened (pour into greased pan ____ batter up into corners of pan leaving center slightly hollow.
- For well rounded loaf allow to stand 20 min before baking.)
- Bake in greased loaf pan at 350 F for 1 hr.
- Cool 5-10 minutes
- Turn out on rack to cool completely.
