Baked Lentils With Cheese Recipe

- 1¾ cup lentils, rinsed
- 2 cups water
- 1 whole bay leaf
- 2 t. salt
- ¼ t. pepper
- 1/8 t Marjoram
- 1/8 t. Thyme
- 2 lg. onions chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups canned tomatoes
- 2 lg carrots sliced 1/8" thick
- ½ cup chopped celery
- 2 T. chopped parsley
- 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- Bake 375° in tightly covered bowl.
