- 4 eggs
- 6 tablespoons sugar
- 1/8 teaspoons salt
- 2 2/3 cups hot milk
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
- Dash nutmeg
- Beat eggs and sugar
- Add salt
- Add hot milk
- Add vanilla
- Pour into custard cups and set in pan of hot water
- Bake in a slow oven (300 - 325 degrees)
