Asparagus With Green Onions With Sour Cream Sauce Recipe

- 2 pounds asparagus
- 2 bunches green onions, cut to length of asparagus
- ¾ cup dairy sour cream
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Freshly ground black pepper to taste
- Cook asparagus in boiling salted water by any preferred method.
- Drain and put on hot platter.
- Cook onions in boiling salted water 3 to 5 minutes.
- Arrange on platter with asparagus.
- Heat remaining ingredients slightly and pour over vegetables.
- Makes 6 servings.
