Almond Cheese Frosting

Almond Cheese Frosting

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 7 1/2 ounces marshmallow fluff (1 jar)
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 2 - 3 drops red food coloring

Instructions

  1. Let the cream cheese to stand at room temperature until softened
  2. Beat with electric mixer or rotary beater until smooth and creamy
  3. Add flavoring and the marshmallow fluff
  4. Continue to beat until well blended and smooth
  5. Add the few drops of food coloring carefully (a little goes a long way and this cake should be a delicate silvery pink)

Almond Cheese Frosting (VRP 034)

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. package cream cheese
  • 1 jar (7½-oz.) marshmallow fluff
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 2 to 3 drops red pure food coloring

Instructions

Let cheese stand at room temperature until softened. Beat with electric mixer or rotary beater until smooth and creamy. Add flavoring and the marshmallow fluff and continue to beat until well blended and smooth. Add the few drops of food coloring carefully. A little goes a long way and this cake should be a delicate silvery pink.
